The Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the President on Community Development, South East region, Mrs. Chioma Nweze, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to tackling all the daunting challenges facing Nigerians.
Nweze, who urged the political leaders of the southeast region, including the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo, to be united, made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.
She said the 63rd anniversary of Nigeria and Ebonyi State at 27 marked the end of the prolonged colonial era and the beginning of a new nation.
She urged the five governors of the southeast region and all the Ministers of the Igbo extraction, especially the works minister, David Umahi, to continue working with the Tinubu’s administration to develop the region.
She said Tinubu had shown his steadfastness and courage in the face of daunting challenges and had proven himself to be the man with the right frame of equipment to retool Nigeria.
She urged Nigerians to keep hope alive and support the government to ensure that their needs are provided.
Nweze further called on the youths and stakeholders of the southeast region to be patient with President Tinubu’s administration; “Noteworthy is the resilient spirit and resolute nature of Nigerians both young and old in the face of biting socioeconomic challenges,” she said.
